Compaction Grouting Services, Inc. is a geotechnical contracting firm that specializes in compaction grouting, micropiles (minipiles), sinkhole remediation, soil nail walls and shotcrete, and slabjacking.  We are a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise in PA, NJ, DE and MD, and a verified Small Diverse Business in PA.  Our team boasts over 41 years of geotechnical construction and engineering experience.  This expertise allows us to collaborate with general contractors and engineers on projects requiring sinkhole repair, void filling pre-construction, slope stabilization and slab lifting.  We work with design professionals to develop the highest quality and most cost-effective solutions. CGS Leadership Team

Katharine Miluski – President

Kay has formulated the corporate vision and direction of Compaction Grouting Services, Inc. as a prominent specialty contractor since 1998. Her extensive experience managing sales teams, creating and establishing a young professionals program, and developing and maintaining relationships with large commercial and industrial clients in the energy sector, prepared her to successfully open and run CGS. Kay co-owns CGS and authorizes all financial management and current and new service development initiatives.  She determines and approves all capital investments and service contracts. Kay leads the team with integrity. She anticipates growing business needs and understands the importance of CGS maintaining its reliability as a leader in the geotechnical construction field. Kay serves on the Women in Deep Foundations Committee. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at Widener University and excelled in the prestigious Boston University London Internship Program, an intensive economics course in London England. 

Michael J. Miluski, P.E. – Vice President

Mike is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years’ experience as a geotechnical engineer and 35 years in foundation construction. He has cultivated a strong presence by leading the team that provides first class specialty geotechnical contracting services. Mike co-owns Compaction Grouting Services, Inc. and oversees all field operations. He remains involved in the projects by working with the team in the field. In addition to leading the crews, Mike is a called upon instructor, particularly for sinkhole and compaction grouting courses.  Each year Mike presents at the Grouting Fundamentals and Current Practice Short course at UT Austin, and is partnering with other industry leaders in updating the Compaction Grouting Consensus Guide. Mike earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees of Science at Widener University and received the Major Martin Civil Engineering award for graduating first in his class.

Justin Terry, P.E. – Senior Project Manager

Justin Terry is the Senior Project Manager at Compaction Grouting Services. He has over 15 years’ experience in engineering, construction, and project management. Before coming to CGS, Justin worked as the lead engineer in many design projects. He managed projects that include inspection and testing of deep foundations, ground modification, structural raising, micropiles, and sinkhole repair. While at CGS Justin has been the project manager for several jobs. He has worked with owners, builders, engineers, and designers to provide the proper grouting applications and ground modification solutions for each project. Justin provides hands on management through all phases of a project from the proposal stage through to invoicing. He is versatile and thorough when jobs present rigid schedules and challenges. Justin not only leads in the technical aspect of his job but is a well-respected mentor to the CGS team.
